Vernazza, Cinque Terre
The road trip began the moment the wedding was over. After saying goodbye to Babs on the church's parking lot (... apparently they missed out on signing something the day before, but all was sorted - she was officially married by the next day) and a few photos later, we set off to drop Amelia in Milan and continued to Cinque Terre.
There was the usual stories of getting lost, given the run around by Tom Tom but we finally managed to get to Vernazza, one of the 5 villages of Cinque Terre. The sun was setting and the water was riding high when we arrived. The clouds were covering the pink sky, but the sight was definitely one to be remembered. It was one of those moments where you feel so small against the wonders of nature.
In continuation to our Italian theme, the evening was closed by superb sea food framed by the pink sunset which slowly losing its colour. The dark sky sent us home to our bed, with full stomach and contentment that the day, once again... a wonderful day.
